P2 Plus Technology has officially introduced the high-performance fanless industrial POS terminal, V-EH6. It is equipped with the 10nm Intel J6412 (Elkhart Lake) low-power embedded processor, along with DDR4-2666/2933/3200MHz SO-DIMM memory and M.2 SSD storage device. The dual-bearing design allows for flexible applications in various Internet of Things (IoT) fields.
P2 Plus Technology’s Chairman, Dar Luo, expressed great confidence in the product. To achieve high-speed communication, the V-EH6 is equipped with optional 802.11ac/a/b/g/n 2.4G+5G dual-band Bluetooth built-in wireless card, as well as the option for a 3042/3052 with SIM Card Header 5G module for fast connectivity. As for display-related applications, in addition to its built-in 15″ 350 cd/m2 capacitive touch screen, the terminal provides an HDMI interface, supporting external 4K HDR display functionality. The audio output section includes a Line-Out + MIC 2-in-1 (CTIA) Jack, offering high-fidelity sound signals that can be effectively utilized in the restaurant industry’s electronic signage or other applications.
Furthermore, Dar Luo pointed out that the V-EH6 industrial POS terminal is designed for enhanced versatility. It is equipped with multiple I/O interfaces, including Giga Ethernet ports that support Wake-on-LAN and Boot ROM functionality, four high-speed USB 3.0 interfaces, two sets of USB 2.0 interfaces, three COM ports, and an RJ11 cash drawer, allowing for the connection of peripherals such as a second display or VFD.
In terms of practicality, Dar Luo mentioned that the V-EH6’s unique dual-bearing chassis design meets the demands of limited space and flexible installation environments. With its rich interfaces, high computing power, advanced graphics capabilities, and support for high-speed networking, it avoids delays in data and information transmission, making it well-prepared for IoT applications.
